Greek themed day

Date: 15th Sep 2016 @ 4:17pm

On Monday we had an excellent day with the year 4's as part of our Greek day! The day was filled with lots of exciting activities based around the famous Greek myth 'Theseus and the Minotaur'. To start with we read the story up to the part where Theseus comes face to face with the Minotaur inside the Labyrinth. After this, with just a description of the Minotaur to help us we designed and created a Minotaur mask. They all looked incredibly scary! In the afternoon we imagined what it would be like to be Theseus and travelled through a make shift labyrinth without being able to see where we were going! There were lots of strange and loud noises as well as water dripping from the ceiling!

Our Vision:

Growing a community of life-long learners who will care for each other,
who will work hard to learn new things every day,
and who will achieve more than they thought possible.
